Practical Uses of Social Software

- Many times I think that blogging and such is not given a second thought as it seems superfluous.  But there are many practical applications including

– developing a common resource list (using delicious)

– communal note taking (pedablogy)

– integrating disperse online resources into one page (delicious)

– others i have posted in my practical uses category

Professionally my benefit is being able to receive additional training on this topic and the opportunity to learn how these technologies fit into other’s instructional approaches while sharing with them the experiences and knowledge I have gained over the years.  (Am I professionally old enough yet to publicly commit to having expertise and sharable experiences?)
