Interesting point on Social Software from F I C I A L
I was reading NITLE Conference: LMS at LAC : 6 (Bryan Alexander on Web 2.0) « f i c i a l
and at the end came across this line – (the rest of the post is also worth a read)
Most social software needs a larger user base to really be useful, but the userbase need not always be concurrent.
This is a true statement but I think I would change “a larger user base” to “a critical mass of users” as wikis are a great way to collaborate on content even for two people. I can think of other examples as well for small numbers but I am just splitting hairs.
The userbase not need concurrent is a point I did not think of before and it adds additional value.
thanks Chris
