Working through change

Change is frustrating and liberating.

This past year has been one of changes here are Allegheny.  We are changing the way we manage campus computers (remote installs and updates) and the organization (library, computing services and learning services report to the same person).  While these are all things that potentially move us forward to realize greater innovations and efficiencies that fact that it is not business as usual is frustrating.

Having to “think” about how to install software instead of just being able to do it is a real aggrevation.

I think this is a learning moment but just to frustrated to accept it.
